Sarah King is a board-certified music therapist licensed in the state of Maryland by the Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Music Therapists. She graduated from Nazareth University (formally Nazareth College) in Rochester, NY with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy and a minor in Psychology. Her experience in providing music therapy both in the school setting and through home-based services has given her an expansive background in supporting children with diverse diagnoses. Sarah prioritizes her clients by facilitating success-oriented, individualized music experiences through musical elements and her warm rapport.
A long-time pianist, Sarah knew from a young age she wanted to combine her passion for music with her desire to help others. She finds her career highly rewarding, as she creates a fun and motivating environment that fosters development and self-expression. She is the mom of two young daughters and enjoys aiding in community connection for other parents.
