EYT counseling services
At EYT Counseling and Wellness Center we believe in supporting the whole person. Often times, this means providing a safe and therapeutic outlet for family members of the individual in therapy. Our counseling sessions and groups are designed to support tweens, adolescents, and adults who are seeking encouragement, validation, and stress-relief opportunities.
A Holistic Approach
Our Express Yourself Therapy Counseling and Wellness Center offers a variety of options for each of our clients. We know that counseling and support is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and our team is dedicated to providing our clients with the interventions that work best for their situation and preferences.
Our Counseling and Wellness Center offers services that include counseling sessions from a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), wellness coaching, and personal training. Counselors have advanced training in therapeutic approaches and consistently use research-based practices to benefit our clients. We aim to create an environment where our clients feel comfortable and safe, as well as supported and encouraged.
Individualized Sessions
Traditional counseling sessions are effective for many, and we offer those here. However, we also find ways to connect with clients who struggle in a more traditional setting. The team at our Counseling and Wellness Center incorporates nature, movement, and other approaches to work with clients, draw lines to real-life scenarios, and practice coping skills.
Each of our sessions is designed to empower, encourage, and support clients. However, some clients find that empowerment through movement while others find it through chatting during a walk outside. We will work with you to find what works best for you.
Group Sessions
Group sessions at our Counseling and Wellness Center are designed to encourage friendships and peer connection. Our team groups participants based on what they are working on, as well as their personalities and interests. We use activities and group work that draws participants into meaningful conversations without creating an intimidating environment.
Thanks to our rec room and workout center, clients and groups have the option of participating in sessions while working out, gaming, or enjoying other recreational activities.
Call our office to set up your first appointment; we will use our time together to talk more about your goals and challenges, as well as develop a plan that will be most beneficial to you.
