Melissa GrovesorMelissa is pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of Express Yourself Therapy. Melissa graduated with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Rush University and earned her Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Additionally, Melissa has a doctorate in Infant and Early Childhood Development with Emphasis in Developmental Disabilities and Infant Mental Health from Fielding University.

Melissa is a certified DIR® practitioner and Training Leader affiliated with both ICDL and Profectum organizations. Melissa is available to provide speech/language therapy and developmental therapy to children and young adults. Melissa is a proud mother of a child with individual differences and uses her experiences to deepen her understanding of the children and families she works with.

Olivia Garber M.S. CCC-SLP

OliviaOlivia is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is located at our Chicago branch full time. Olivia earned her Master’s degree at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University.

Olivia is a certified DIR®/Floortime practitioner associated with the ICDL organization. She has experience working with the pediatric population in both school and clinic settings, as well as participating in peer groups to promote social interactions.

Olivia believes in a child-centered approach with strong family involvement. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys traveling, yoga, and becoming a “foodie.”

Katie Hinrichs

Katie  has been working as an aide with Express Yourself Therapy for four years. Besides supporting a variety of our groups and clubs, she additionally works one on one with children providing developmental based play therapy.

Katie is innovative, compassionate, and has a passion for working with children with individual differences. Katie has three children (5, 3, 1) including one with sensory integration challenges. Katie has a Bachelors Degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Community Health.

Alexis Brow M.S.

Alexis is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is located at our Palatine branch full time. Alexis earned her Master’s degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Elmhurst College.

Alexis has experience working with the pediatric population within the educational, clinical, and home-based settings. She enjoys being her “silly” self with children and facilitating language development through play-based interactions. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and dogs, listen to music, and travel to new places.

Angela Marcotte DPT, PT, CEIM

Miss Angela Patricia Marcotte lives and is originally from Lake Bluff, Illinois. After completing her bachelors of science in Pennsylvania, she moved to Miami Florida and graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Miami in 2013. Since then, Miss Angela has clocked thousands of hours with direct hands on treatment of infants, toddlers, and children. She is a certified educator of infant massage and practices with the philosophy that a happy, positive movement experience initiated in infancy fosters lifelong inner strength and grit. Outside of work Miss Angela loves to cook, listen to music, and spend time with her family.

Lindsey Worley, M.S. CCC-SLP

Lindsey is a Speech Language Pathologist who is located at both our Chicago and Palatine branches. Lindsey completed her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish from Indiana University.

Lindsey has extensive experience working with the pediatric population from ages birth to age 21 in private practice and in home-based settings in the areas of DIR®/Floortime, oral motor/feeding disorders, and delays/disorders in speech and language. Lindsey enjoys providing play-based therapy addressing the child’s individual differences and parental coaching. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys baking, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.
